Motorcycle Tour Route Details

Day 1 - Delhi - Manali transfer

Riders are requested to arrive at Delhi. You need to arrive at the meeting point at stipulated time as communicated. Private buses never leave Delhi bus stop at exact start time, but staying punctual doesn’t harm. We don't guarantee front row seats to everyone, so arrive early. Meet your fellow riders & enjoy the comfortable overnight journey to hills.

Day 2 - Manali

Manali Altitude - 6700Ft Reach Manali in the morning around 10: 30 Arrive at Manali either by taking a taxi from the bus stand. Hotel check-in starts around 11 AM. After checking in, you are free to wander around the city if you wish. Get back to the hotel in the evening for orientation and group meet up. Learn all about the road trip in orientation - the roadmap, riding etiquette, pitfalls, & rules the bike will be allotted & let you test the bike. Please inform the team of adjustments if any. We will head to fuel up the bikes followed by dinner. We recommend good sleep before the 1st riding day. Overnight at Manali Hotel.

Day 3 - Manali - Jibhi (230 Km)

Manali Altitude - 6700Ft Jibhi Altitude - 5,300 Ft Do not tarnish your image on the very first day. We have to start early to reach before night. The lavish colours of the grand town Kullu turn into rural charm as we ride past Bhuntar. The green valleys are breathtaking as we ride along the river till Jibhi. Take a comfortable nice nap in the lap of the mountains.

Day 4 - Jibhi - Jalori Pass - Rock gate - Sangla

Jibhi Altitude - 5,300 Ft Sangla Altitude - 8,600 Ft Kinnaur Valley has always been mentioned as a magical kingdom in Hindu Mythologies. One can’t skip praising The Gateway of Kinnaur. You will find the roads are not as smooth as yesterday. Of course, you need not worry about the bike chain getting dirty, we have a mechanic with us. If you like the narrow hillside roads, today you will fall in love with roads accompanied by the Satluj river Gorge; the roughest patch will be served in the Dessert. Overnight at Sangla.

Day 5 - Sangla - Chitkul - Kalpa

Sangla Altitude - 8,600 Ft Kalpa Altitude - 10,000 Ft After breakfast, get ready to ride up to the last village before China. Devour the magnificent views of the valley of the Chitkul & take a walk around the river. Fill your tank and tummy full. We ride on the path where true off-roading or honestly, no-roading starts. The mountains follow the same colour code of roads craggy brown. Hold your handle well since you will experience usual fishtail and occasional jumps. Overnight stay at Kalpa.

Day 6 - Kalpa - Kaza

Kalpa Altitude - 10,000 Ft Kaza Altitude - 12,500 Ft When we start today, you wish to ride slowly to devour the scenery blue Spiti and Snow mountains. Any way riding slow not an option, you are duly forced by black ice and landslides. Why the roads of NH 505 in such state? Well, the credit goes to the surprises - slush, rolling stones, & confidence freezing temperatures. Although, the road grows merciful to the derriere later. The kazigs (hairpin turns) and the snow-capped mountains confuse you where to look. You know the correct answer. We reach freezing land Kaza in the evening. There, There! We are in the Capital of The Spiti Valley.

Day 7 - Kaza Local

Kaza Altitude - 12,500 Ft The city itself is bliss separated into old and new Kaza by Kaza Nullah. Today we are out to visit some of the less explored locations high on the east side of Spiti Valley. You are very versed with atrocities of the road so no need mentioning them again. The Chau Chau Kang Nilda seems to be close enough to touch at Langza & do not forget to collect sea fossils. Leaving Langza, we reach yet another high-altitude village Hikkim, loaded with many 'highest in the world' awards. You can see ruins of the Tangyut Monastery destroyed in 1975 earthquake. Finally, we head to the highest motorable village Koumic before heading back to our nest in Kaza.

Day 8 - Kaza - Chandratal

Kaza Altitude - 12,500 Ft Chandratal Altitude - 14,000Ft You get to explore local avenues in the morning - Kaza Monastery, Kye Monastery and Kibber Monastery. Among these, Kibber Monastery, established in the 11th century, has the largest concerning numbers. On the other hand, Kye Monastery offers the breathtaking view of Spiti valley from the aloft rock. Later when the sun sits right on the head, we direct our handlebar towards The Chandra Tal (Moon Lake). Unlike before, Spiti river flows on the right, later again on the left. You ride on the Manali road until Kunzum Pass. Afterwards, we take 8 Km long 'road of the stones & water', accompanied by meadows. At last, we reach the Colour Changing Lake, which sits in the lap of The Himalayas (14000ft). Sit at the bank and witness the ultimate time-lapse of The Moon Lake.

Day 9 - Chandratal - Manali

Chandratal Altitude - 14,000Ft Manali Altitude - 6700Ft After being mesmerised by the sunrise and heavy breakfast, we gear up to leave for Manali. The road seems soothing to eyes and comforting to the back for a while. We will take the Batal road via Kunzum pass. Soon after it turns into the dream of an offroader & nightmare for cruising rider. Big boulders hurdling your path in water stream is not what everyone dreams of. We ride further to conquer the Rohtang pass before we finally reach Manali. We enjoy the moments of the trip at the dinner table at the hotel.

Day 10 - Manali - Delhi

Manali Altitude - 6700Ft Check out from the hotel as per the policy. Keep the luggage at the reception when you go out for a Manali shopping trip. Our team will bid adieu from this point. Please reach the Manali Volvo Bus stand to catch the bus to Delhi on the time communicated. Enjoy the comfortable bus journey at night. Dinner is not included in the bus journey. We depart our ways from Delhi. We came as strangers, slowly jelling-up, becoming friends for life.
