Kickstart the day early with a peaceful trek down to the river before we fuel up with breakfast. Today, we set out to conquer the breathtaking Kinnaur Valley. The journey begins with a challenging ascent to Jalori Pass, where the narrow roads and steep climbs will test both you and your machine. The higher we go, the more the Himalayas will make you work for it.
From Jalori Pass, we begin the thrilling descent on winding roads toward Shimla, passing through charming apple orchards and villages built from mud, wood, and stone. Keep an eye out for the many waterfalls along the route, At one point, we'll cross the mighty Sutlej River before cruising onto a smooth two-lane highway with gorgeous landscapes leading us to Rampur.
After Rampur, the real adventure begins as we ride the iconic cliffhanger roads of Kinnaur Valley. Make sure to stop for a group shot at the famous Kinnaur Rock Gate, but stay sharp—the mountains are alive with falling rocks.
As we approach Karcham Dam, the wide highway transforms into a single-lane road that hugs the mountainside. As the road begins to climb, look back to witness the mesmerizing sunset over the valley—a moment you won't soon forget. This is the legendary road often called “The Scariest Road of India,” and now you'll understand why!
End the day in the serene Sangla Valley, known for its apple orchards and the warm hospitality of the locals. It's a perfect place to rest, reflect on the thrilling ride, and gear up for the next adventure.Overnight at Sangla Valley, nestled among apple orchards.

Start your morning with a peaceful stroll through Sangla's famed apple orchards—if you haven't done this yet, you're missing out! After a hearty breakfast and a steaming cup of coffee, we'll gear up for the ride toward the last village before the Indo-Chinese border—Chitkul.
The journey is nothing short of epic! As we ride alongside the pristine blue waters of the Baspa River, passing through the quiet village of Raksham, the road begins to narrow, and parts of it are broken. But that only adds to the adventure as you tackle one of the most thrilling cliffhanger routes of the Spiti circuit.
When we finally reach Chitkul, the last inhabited village near the border, the charm of the place will take your breath away. Take a moment to soak it all in, whether it's with a cup of coffee overlooking the village or a leisurely walk down to the river. Don't forget to capture the surreal beauty on camera—though, fair warning, you'll quickly run out of space with the number of photos you'll want to take!

Wake up to the breathtaking sight of Kinner Kailash glistening in the morning light—it's a view you won't soon forget. After breakfast, we'll fuel up for a thrilling ride to the heart of Spiti Valley. The smooth roads to Pooh will have you itching to open up the throttle, but remember—control that urge! These winding, twisty roads come with surprises, from hairpin bends to sudden rolling stones tumbling down the mountainside.
As we leave the greenery behind, watch the landscape shift dramatically. The towering peaks gradually turn into stark, barren mountains as we enter the otherworldly Spiti Valley. The first major stop is Khab, where the Sutlej and Spiti Rivers converge—it's a jaw-dropping sight that marks the gateway to this rugged, high-altitude desert.
The ascent to Nako is steep but exhilarating. Grab a quick snack at Nako Top, where the air gets thinner, and the adventure even more intense. From here, the dirt trail begins—a wild ride along the edge of the Spiti River with steep descents and sweeping vistas that'll have you gripping your handlebars a little tighter.
We'll pass through Tabo, where ancient monasteries whisper tales of the past. As you roll into Kaza, the headquarters of Spiti Valley, the dusty, rugged roads will give way to the calm of this remote town. After parking the bike for the day, unwind beneath a canopy of stars, listening to the soothing rush of the Spiti River in the background.
Take a stroll through Old Kaza, and if you're up for something local, try a buckthorn juice or snack on some Thiang Mo (buckwheat bread) at one of the homestay cafes. It's a perfect end to a day of adventure in the high Himalayas.

Buckle up early, because today is going to be an epic adventure! First up, we're riding to Hikkim, home to the world's highest post office. This short but thrilling ride will get your blood pumping as we ascend into the heights of Spiti Valley. Don't forget to send a postcard to your loved ones from 14,400 feet above sea level (it might take months, but it's the thought that counts!).
Next, we're headed even higher—to Komic, the highest village on Earth connected by motorable road. At 15,027 ft, you'll be standing among snow-capped giants and ancient sea fossils that speak of a time long before humans ever roamed these lands.
After Komic, it's time to pay our respects to the majestic Buddha at Langza. Seated high on a hill, the Buddha statue overlooks the valley with a calm smile, as if inviting you to soak in the stunning landscape. Sip on a cup of ginger lemon tea with almonds and apricots at a local café—it's the perfect recharge for the soul and body.
Before we head back to Kaza, there's one more stop—Key Monastery. Let the mystical hum of ancient prayers sink into your spirit as you explore this spiritual sanctuary perched on the edge of the mountain.
It's been a long day of exploring some of the world's most extraordinary places, but the adventure is far from over. Ride back to Kaza for a well-deserved rest under the stars. Overnight at Kaza.

Today's ride is nothing short of legendary, so get ready to push your limits as we journey toward the mystical Moon Lake (Chandratal). First, we'll ride to one of the highest suspension bridges in the world, perched at a dizzying 4,150m in Chicham. It's not just Instagram gold; this bridge hovers above a 150m gorge that'll have your heart racing—drop a stone, and it'll take 16 seconds to hit the water below!
From here, we dive into the raw beauty of Spiti as we ride along the Kibber Wildlife Sanctuary, towards Losar. The road will challenge every bit of your riding skill: dirt trails, high cliffs, water crossings, hairpin turns, and the occasional blind spot. After Losar, a smooth tarred road welcomes us for a short break, but don't get too comfortable—it's back to rugged roads as we follow the legendary route where Royal Enfield's off-roading races are held. When we reach Kunzum La (4551m), take a moment to catch your breath and pay homage at Kunzum Mata Temple, a blessing for safe passage into the land of the gods.
Now, we descend into a true off-roading paradise—riding the narrow path toward Chandratal. With just enough space for one vehicle, this adrenaline-filled stretch will test your nerves.
Park your trusted steed at the last motorable point, and get ready for a 2 km hike to Chandratal, a place of sheer tranquility and jaw-dropping beauty. The hike may be tiring, but the sight of the Moon Lake makes it all worth it—witness the ultimate time-lapse as the sun plays across its crystal-clear waters.
We'll end the day at the campsite, where a warm supper awaits under the starlit sky. Brace yourself for the coldest night of the ride, but the memories of today will keep your spirit warm. Overnight stay at Chandratal camp.
- Accomodation: Basic Camp
- Meals: Breakfast and Dinner

We'll navigate the same narrow, one-lane road as we bid farewell to Moon Lake and rejoin the Manali-Kaza Highway. From there, we descend on broken, rocky paths toward the legendary Chacha-Chachi Dhaba, where a warm meal and even warmer hospitality await us. Known as the last lifeline in this frozen landscape, this dhaba has rescued many a traveler—and today, it's our stop for a much-needed break.
Once refreshed, we're in for some of the most thrilling off-roading of the tour. The road ahead is a rugged mix of boulders, river stones, and surprises around every corner—an off-road rider's dream!
