Motorcycle Tour Route Details

Day 1 - Siliguri - Phuentsholing

We welcome you to the cross-country ride! Our team will be waiting for you at the meeting point at 7:00 am & will help you create right mindset for your journey. Take a seat in saddle of bike provided. Test ride it and do let us know issues if any. Today, we are driving towards India - Bhutan Border town. Glide through the crowded yet pleasant highways of West Bengal. You will complete the stretch before you know it. On reaching there, you shall be putting up in a hotel for an overnight stay at Phuentsholing.

Day 2 - Phuentsholing

This is reserve day just for Permits as the immigration norms for Bhutan may change overnight. After breakfast, we head towards the immigration office to complete the immigration formalities including submitting the ID proof, biometrics, etc. This may take ample time; hence it is advisable to carry some eatables for lunch. After your individual permits are issued, we will continue our hustle at the RTO office to get the vehicle permits. If you have an urge for smoking, you can simply take a small walk to India for the last time. When you return, forget about smoking (Bhutan is no smoking Country). Overnight at Phuentsholing.

Day 3 - Phuentsholing – Thimphu

We will glide through the picturesque landscape and magnifying aura, making the travel desired and easy. The time taken on the road will oscillate between 4-5 hours. If time allows us, we will visit Buddha Dordemma, a 51m tall statue of Buddha overlooking the Thimphu city. Next, we visit the National Chorten, a stupa in Thimphu, Folk Heritage Museum (an old farmhouse showing the rural life of Bhutanese), Later head to Bhutan Paper factory and Bhutan postal museum. We halt overnight at Thimphu.

Day 4 - Thimpu - Punakha

After breakfast, we head to Punakha via Phobjikha/Wang due Valley (along with the permits). On the way Stop at Dochu-La-Pass (3150 meters) to view the higher Himalayas. Afterwards, we head to Wang due. We will take a time break to explore the valley before heading to Punakha After reaching Punakha, we visit the Punakha Dzong which was named after Druk Pungthang Dechen Phodrang (Palace of Great Happiness). Afterwards, visit the suspension bridge followed by a local lunch. Rest of the day free for leisure. Overnight stay will be at Punakha.

Day 5 - Punakha - Paro

After breakfast, we depart to majestic Paro. Riding on the serpent would look very mildly difficult task once you witness the beauty. Be ready with paper for the check posts inline. Bikers must ride carefully as the visibility falls below 5 meters on the hilly roads. The roads are ironic to the beauty of Paro, accompanied by river, waterfalls and the breathtaking view from hills. Overnight at Paro.

Day 6 - Paro Local

After enjoying the sunrise of the river confluence, we are leaving for the Tiger's Nest. You might want to save energy for 1700 ft hiking to the Monastery. Your listlessness of 2 hours hiking goes away entering the Monastery. Afterwards, we head back to Paro to enjoy the farm visit and delicious farm lunch. I hope you still have the energy to visit the remaining 154 temples of Paro. Walk down to the river bank to witness a beautiful sunset. Overnight at Paro.

Day 7 - Paro – Lataguri

On this day, we ride rigorous. We ride on the familiar terrains; firstly, to Phuentsholing, later we take a cab ride to lataguri. We ride through the breath-taking mountains and captivating scenic beauty towards the India – Bhutan border. The smile would prevail noticing the small things missed before; a small sip of tea, locals smiling and so on. Upon arriving in India, we shall continue the ride to Forest reserve of Lataguri. Our stay will be in proximity of Lataguri Reserve.

Day 8 - Lataguri – Siliguri – Depart

Take an early sip of tea, before you head out for a Jungle Safari. There are multiple batches available to so. Come back before 12. After we come back from the safari, our bikes will continue to rumble till Siliguri. After you hand over the bikes to the team, we will drop you at the Bagdogra Airport. The trip may have come to an end; we will always be connected with the memories of the trip. Tashidelek. Log Jay Gay!
