We say 'no' to any service we can't provide on the terrain. In full disclosure, Hanle has little or no luxury at all.

Hotels/ Camps

Riding on the Himalayas is tough. What's tougher is finding the right host with the right hospitality on such altitudes. The stays are handpicked over the year who offer not only good infrastructure but excellent service too. So, after a tough day of the ride, you will relax and rejuvenate at these cosy stays.We will stay at a homestay with survival essentials at Hanle. The bathing facility, private room and toilet, room heaters etc. are not available at these mentioned places.The camping site at Shnongpedeng and Mawphlang does not have a private washroom. You will get a mattress with a blanket in these camps.

Terrain service

A mechanic will accompany to maintain the bike regularly and look after the required fixes on the mountains. And no need to worry about the luggage. The luggage will be carried in the backup Vehicle (Bolero Camper) along with the quick Medical kit, Oxygen cylinder and spare parts of the bikes.

Tour Route Details

Day 1 - Arrival at Guwahati Airport transfer to Shillong.

Welcome on-board traveller. Reach Guwahati and walk out of the Airport by 12:00 noon for the Group pick up. We will glide through the plains of Guwahati to the Khasi hills and head to Scotland of the east. After you have checked in at the hotel, feel free to explore the charming city and the markets, Meet us all members of the group in the evening for a group orientation. Overnight leisure at the hotel.

Day 2 - Shillong - Mawphlang

After breakfast, we will head out to explore the Paradise in Khasi hills. Firstly, we will visit the grand canyon of India – Laitlum. Witness the cloud movement in the valley. Later, we will visit the famous ML05 cafe for lunch. After the sumptuous meal, we will continue to witness the beautiful Elephant waterfall. Soon, we will continue the journey to the sacred forest for the Khasi Heritage Village. Enjoy the evening with the serene view from the jungle camp near the sacred Grove of Mawphlang.

Day 3 - Mawphlang – Cherrapunjee

After breakfast you can walk up to the famous Robert Scott trek. Later we will head out to the sacred forest of the Khasi heritage village. It is believed to bring misfortune to those who carry even a leaf out of the forest with several references to past incidences. Witness the forest with the minimal or non-existent human touch in its authentic and natural form. Later we will head towards the land of Snake (Thlen). Upon reaching there, trek up and down along the narrow trek (including bamboo stretches) to three-layered Waterfall-Wei Sawdong. After spending some time we will go to Cherrapunjee hotel.

Day 4 - Double Decker Root Bridge

Start early after breakfast, directly proceed to Tyrna Village. The trek is about 5-6 hours involving a 15- minute drive to the start point. From Tyrna village, walk down the green hills through three Khasi villages. Upon crossing the single-decker root bridge and blue Lagoon, Enjoy the blissful sound of the small waterfall of Nongriat under the 500 years old double-decker bridge. Once we climb back to our vehicles, we will head to a limestone cave - Arawah Cave. Soon after, we will continue our journey to one of the highest waterfalls - Nokalikai. Overnight stay at Cherrapunjee hotel.

Day 5 - Cherapunjee - Shnongpdang

After breakfast, we leave for the Jayantia hills and the transparent river – Umgot (Dawki village). On the way to the scariest trek for Meghalaya made of Bamboos – Mawryngkhang. Witness the culturally protected village – Wahkhen. The viewpoint on the trek and the natural swimming pool are the highlights of this trek apart from being a daredevil’s wish list. The trek usually takes 3 hrs depending on your speed. Afterwards, we will head to the Bangladesh Border. Enjoy the river cruise at the Umgot river.

Day 6 - Shnongpdang - Shillong

After breakfast, we will explore further deeper in Jayantia hills. Walk on the slippery trek to reach the stunning waterfall - Krangsuri falls. Stand speechless and spend the time staring at the beautiful fall with lush greenery around. After the lunch break, trek to Phe-Phe falls. It is not easy to reach the fall with the slippery path. After spending some quality time with the splendid waters, we will head to the Scotland of East. Once you reach the hotel, feel free to explore the local Shillong market.

Day 7 - Shillong - Guwahati Airport

After a scrumptions breakfast, Check out early from the hotel. We advise you to book flights which will take off after 3 PM. Our vehicle will drop you at Guwahati Airport to continue your onward journey with memorable experiences.
