Day 03 : Pokhara - Kalopani(148KM |6-7 Hrs)

The ride begins early as you roll out of Pokhara, leaving behind the calm lakeside charm of Pokhara city and heading toward Beni via the Baglung Highway. This initial section is smooth and scenic, offering breathtaking mountain vistas, terraced farmlands carved into the hillsides, and a glimpse of rural Nepal at its most picturesque. Along the way, there’s an opportunity to walk across one of Nepal’s iconic suspension bridges—an experience that adds a sense of adventure to your pokhara tour package.

At Mal Dhunga, the route breaks away from the highway and dives into dust and gravel as you enter Beni, set at the meeting point of the Kali Gandaki and Myagdi rivers. From here, the ride becomes raw and real. The road turns rough and unpredictable, with loose gravel, potholes, and river crossings. This off-road stretch tests both riding skills and endurance, demanding focus and control.

As you climb deeper into the Kali Gandaki Gorge, the scenery transforms dramatically. Lush valleys fade into stark mountains, opening up stunning Kalopani mountain views. The day ends in Kalopani, where Kalopani sightseeing rewards you with pure Himalayan wilderness—marking a powerful entry into Kalopani Mustang.

Day 04 : Kalopani - Muktinath(52 KM |3 Hrs)

The day begins with an early start from Kalopani, carrying forward the raw thrill of the Kalopani bike trip. Riding alongside the mighty Kali Gandaki River, you pass through timeless Himalayan villages—Dana, Ghasa, and Tukuche—where prayer flags flutter in the wind and stone houses blend into the mountains. The route feels alive with culture, silence, and stories carved by time.

En route, you’re rewarded with spectacular Kalopani mountain views such as  Mount Dhaulagiri (8,167 m), Tukuche Peak (6,920 m), and Nilgiri (7,061 m). Riding between the Dhaulagiri range and the Annapurna Mountain Range, you witness a dramatic transformation in terrain—lush green forests slowly give way to a stark, arid, high-altitude desert.

Beyond Jomsom the ride is demanding, but the rewards are immense: rugged landscapes, cascading waterfalls, bursts of orange and apple trees. From Jomsom, the route climbs leading to Muktinath—revered as the “Place of Salvation.” After arrival, you check into your accommodation and rest.

Riding onward, you pass through the valley of Jomsom before continuing toward Kalopani. En route visit Marpha for lunch halt and highlight of the day. Famous for its apple orchards, this large Thakali village showcases classic Thak Khola architecture—flat roofs, whitewashed stone houses, and narrow paved alleys.

Post lunch, the journey continues for another 2 to 2.5 hours toward Tatopani Mustang route. As altitude drops, the landscape gradually turns greener and warmer, marking a clear transition from the high-altitude desert of Mustang to the subtropical lower valleys.

Upon arrival at Tatopani, you check into your accommodation. The rest of the day is yours—ideal for slow walks, recovery, and soaking in the calm rhythm of Tatopani travel after days of intense Himalayan riding.

From here, the ride continues toward Beni. Leaving Beni, you follow the trail running parallel to the river, enjoying the last stretch of rugged Himalayan riding. After about an hour, you reconnect with the main highway at Maldhunga.

The ride becomes smooth and relaxed as you cruise along the highway toward Pokhara. This final stretch offers a comfortable transition from mountain trails to urban ease.

Upon arrival in Pokhara, you check into the hotel. The remainder of the day is free—perfect for unwinding after days of intense riding. You may choose to relax by Lakeside Bazaar, explore cafés and shops, or simply soak in the laid-back atmosphere of one of Nepal’s most loved mountain cities.
