Motorcycle Tour Route Details

Day 1 - Arrival at Leh

Leh Altitude - 11500Ft Key Attraction - Leh Hotel

Arrive at Leh Airport (IXL). We will depart in a group to the hotel (breakfast not included). You are advised to take a dosage of Diamox & take rest for the whole day. It is strictly advised not to go out to mitigate altercation of altitude. If you feel any symptom - a headache, nausea or vomiting, inform the team immediately. In the evening, we will gather for orientation and group meet up. Learn all about the road trip in orientation - the roadmap, riding etiquette, pitfalls, & rules, followed by bike allocation. Inform the team of any issues on the bike. Dinner and Overnight stay at the Leh Hotel.

Day 2 - Leh - Khardung La- Nubra (150 Km)

Nubra Alt. - 10080 feet Leh Altitude - 11500Ft Key Attractions - Highest Motorable Road, Khardung Village

We will ride on the road above 18000 ft, maintained by Border Road Organisation. Steep turns, low oxygen & weather unpredictability ranks the ride among the most challenging ride. We will make a photo stop at the top for the customary photograph with the landmark board. Later we ride downhill towards Nubra Valley. We will make a stop at Diskit Monastery for prayers. Overnight stay at Nubra Valley campsite or guesthouse.

Day 3 - Nubra – Shyok – Pangong (180 Km)

Key Attractions - Karakoram Mountain Range, Shyok River Nubra Alt. - 10080 feet Pangong Alt. - 15280 feet

It is a day of making a way in mud & water crossings. The Shyok valley acts as a wind tunnel; shaking biker and his ride by powerful winds. Sandstorm and rolling stones are very usual crossings. Few water crossings en route are so huge and challenging, nothing like you have seen before. Later, face hilly curves along the Shyok river. Overnight camp stays at Tangste or Spangmik.

Day 4 - Pangong - Chang La Pass – Leh (170 Km)

Pangong Alt. - 15280 feet Leh Alt. - 11500Ft Key Attractions – Chang La Pass, Pangong Lake

After a photo session at the Pangong Lake of all Karinas and the Aamirs in the Morning, we head towards the next big thing at 17,580 Ft. En route Leh, you ride uphill on earthen and gravel roads to mighty Chang La. Catch the glimpse of Kang Yisay top of Hemis National Park from the Chang La Top. Later, you will continue to trade your path in the earthen roads to reach Leh. Overnight stay at the Leh hotel.

Day 5 - Leh - Morey plains - Pang - Sarchu (180 Km)

Leh Altitude - 11500Ft Sarchu Altitude - 15280 feet Key Attractions - Morey Plains, Tanglang La It is time to bid farewell to Leh. We assemble after breakfast & load the luggage on Car. You reach Tanglang La after riding 30 Km uphill. We will drive downhill towards Morey Plains, India’s only share in the Tibetan plateau. Go crazy with lenses in natural light splashes on this high plateau. Strong freezing winds are an integral part of the weather. Sarchu is so remote and cold; it dares you to sleep without socks. Do not waste food here; it is a much-valued luxury. Have a nice meal at the tent.

Day 6 - Sarchu - Keylong - Manali (190 Km)

Pang Altitude - 15280 feet Manali Altitude - 6700Ft Key Attractions - 21 hairpin Ghataloops, Baralachla Pass, Suraj Tal

After breakfast, we start the long ride today. Although you have driven a couple of hundred Kilometers, but as the customary goes, the best is served at last - water crossing’s, Streams & four high altitude passes. Not everyone dares enough to ride back to Manali. With endurance, you finally make it to Manali. Drop the bikes at the drop point at Manali & hand over keys to the team. You are free to go out to old Manali to party. Enjoy the tasty dinner before you sleep at the hotel.

Day 7 - Manali Day & Manali to Delhi transfer in evening

Manali Altitude - 6700Ft

Check out from the hotel as per the policy. Keep the luggage at the reception when you go out for a Manali shopping trip. Our team will bid adieu from this point. Please reach the Manali Volvo Bus stand to catch the bus to Delhi on the time communicated. Enjoy the comfortable bus journey at night. Dinner is not included in the bus journey. We depart our ways from Delhi. We came as strangers, slowly jelling-up, becoming friends for life.

Day 8 - Reach Delhi & Departure

After you reach Delhi, bid farewell to each other. You will depart with memories and friends for life. Here onwards we leave for our lives and cities.
