Day 02 : Kochi - Athirapally (70 KM | 3 Hrs)

After breakfast, you begin your first riding day, departing the historic coastal plains of Kochi and heading inland toward the lush tropical interiors of Kerala. The ride introduces you to India’s diverse road character—blending urban exits, village corridors, and gradually unfolding forested stretches. Coconut groves, paddy fields, and riverside settlements accompany you as you settle into your motorcycle and riding rhythm.

As the route progresses, the landscape grows denser and greener, with winding roads cutting through rubber plantations and moist deciduous forests. The air becomes cooler and more fragrant as you approach the Athirapally region, often referred to as the “Niagara of India.”

Upon arrival, you check in to your nature resort nestled amidst thick greenery. The highlight of the day is visiting the majestic Athirapally Waterfalls, where powerful cascades plunge dramatically into rocky pools below. You may also explore nearby forest viewpoints or simply relax to the sound of rushing water.

The evening is spent unwinding in tranquil surroundings, marking a refreshing transition from international travel into Kerala’s wild tropical landscapes.

  • Accomodation: 3 * Hotel

Day 03 : Athirapally – Nilambur (160KM | 4-5 Hrs)

Today’s ride takes you deeper into Kerala’s forest heartland. After breakfast, you depart Athirapally and continue along scenic roads that weave through dense vegetation, river crossings, and plantation belts. The riding terrain is smooth yet engaging, with gentle bends and shaded corridors offering a relaxed but immersive motorcycling experience.

As you advance northward, rubber estates gradually give way to teak plantations and moist forest reserves. The route remains visually rich, with occasional wildlife sightings and sweeping canopy tunnels enhancing the sense of adventure.

You arrive in Nilambur by afternoon, a historic town known for housing one of the oldest teak plantations in the world. After hotel check‑in, you may visit the renowned Teak Museum, which showcases the region’s forestry heritage, or stroll through the Conolly Plot plantation trails.

The slower pace of Nilambur offers a peaceful contrast to the previous day’s waterfalls. Surrounded by greenery and colonial forestry legacy, the evening is ideal for relaxation, photography, and informal rider interactions as the expedition gradually ascends toward Kerala’s highland regions.

  • Accomodation: 3 * Hotel
  • Meals: Lunch and Dinner
Day 04 : Nilambur – Wayanad (100KM | 2-3 Hrs)

Post breakfast, the expedition resumes toward the elevated landscapes of Wayanad. The ride begins through forest‑lined state highways before transitioning into winding ghat roads that signal your entry into the Western Ghats highlands. The air cools noticeably as altitude increases, and the riding becomes more technical with hairpin bends and sweeping mountain curves.

Dense forests flank both sides of the route, interspersed with spice gardens and tribal hamlets. The terrain feels remote and immersive, offering riders a strong sense of wilderness exploration.

By afternoon, you arrive in Wayanad, one of Kerala’s most pristine hill districts. After resort check‑in, the remainder of the day is at leisure. You may choose to visit nearby waterfalls, explore plantation trails, or simply enjoy the panoramic valley views from your property.

The evening brings cooler temperatures, mist‑laden air, and a serene mountain ambiance—perfect for rest and acclimatization before deeper exploration of this ecologically rich highland plateau.

  • Accomodation: 3 * Hotel

Day 05 : Wayanad Local Exploration (50 KM | 2-3 Hrs)

Today is dedicated to exploring Wayanad’s natural and cultural treasures without the pressure of long‑distance riding. After a relaxed breakfast, you set out on shorter scenic rides through plantation belts and forest corridors that define the region’s geography.

You may visit ancient tribal villages to understand indigenous lifestyles that have coexisted with these forests for centuries. Stops at cascading waterfalls and hidden viewpoints offer photographic and experiential richness.

The riding remains light and enjoyable, allowing you to absorb the landscape at a slower pace—coffee estates, pepper vines, and cardamom groves lining the hillsides. Optional visits include Edakkal Caves or Banasura Sagar viewpoints depending on group preference and time flow.

Returning to the resort by evening, you have time to relax, enjoy local cuisine, or gather with fellow riders to share stories. This rest‑balanced day ensures physical recovery while deepening your connection with Wayanad’s ecological and cultural fabric.

  • Accomodation: 3 * Hotel

Day 06 : Wayanad - Attappadi (170 KM | 5 Hrs)

The ride today moves along remote forest corridors linking Wayanad to the tribal highlands of Attappadi. Departing after breakfast, you traverse lesser‑traveled mountain roads that cut through thick vegetation and protected reserve zones. The riding is immersive yet controlled, with long shaded stretches and minimal traffic.

As you descend and re‑ascend through Ghats, the landscape shifts from dense rainforest to drier highland terrain. The sense of remoteness intensifies, offering riders a rare glimpse into untouched rural South India.

You arrive in Attappadi by afternoon, a region known for its tribal heritage and raw natural beauty. After check‑in at your eco‑lodge or retreat, the evening is free for relaxation. You may explore nearby villages, interact with local communities, or simply unwind amid the quiet mountain surroundings.

The day stands out for its cultural authenticity and off‑grid riding experience.

Day 07 : Attappadi – Marayoor – Munnar (210 KM | 5-6 Hrs)

Today’s stage is one of the expedition’s most visually dynamic rides. You depart Attappadi after breakfast, riding along forest fringes and highland roads that gradually ascend toward Kerala’s famed tea country. The terrain transitions beautifully—from tribal valleys to eucalyptus forests and eventually to expansive tea estates.

En route, you pass through Marayoor, a region known for its sandalwood forests and ancient dolmens. The riding becomes increasingly scenic, with rolling hills, mist pockets, and sweeping bends defining the approach to Munnar.

Upon arrival in Munnar, you check in to your premium hill resort overlooking vast plantation valleys. The cool climate, colonial charm, and manicured tea gardens create a striking contrast to the previous tribal landscapes.

The evening is reserved for rest and acclimatization. You may enjoy plantation walks, sunset viewpoints, or simply relax amid the crisp mountain air as you settle into Kerala’s most iconic highland destination.

  • Accomodation: 3 * Hotel
  • Meals: Breakfast and Dinner
Day 08 : Munnar Local Exploration (50 KM | 1-2 Hrs)

Today is a well‑earned rest day in the cool elevations of Munnar. After days of continuous riding, this pause allows both physical recovery and deeper destination immersion. Following breakfast, you set out on relaxed local explorations through tea estates and colonial‑era settlements.

Visits may include the Tea Museum, where you gain insight into the region’s plantation legacy, or Mattupetty Dam for panoramic reservoir views. Short rides through Pothamedu viewpoints reveal layered hills blanketed in tea, coffee, and cardamom plantations.

The slower pace encourages photography, cultural interaction, and appreciation of the Western Ghats’ biodiversity. You may also explore colonial bungalows or local markets offering artisanal teas and spices.

Returning to your resort by evening, the cool mountain climate and serene landscapes provide the perfect backdrop to recharge before the expedition descends toward Kerala’s wildlife and backwater regions.

  • Accomodation: 3 * Hotel
  • Meals: Breakfast and Dinner
Day 09 : Munnar – Thekkady (90 KM | 2-3 Hrs)

After breakfast, you begin your ride from the cool highlands of Munnar, gradually descending through winding mountain roads that cut across the scenic Cardamom Hills. The route is rich in sensory experiences—fresh mountain air, the aroma of spices, and uninterrupted views of rolling plantations stretching across the slopes. Tea estates slowly give way to cardamom, pepper, and clove plantations, offering a clear sense of transition in both landscape and climate.

As the ride continues, the terrain becomes more rugged yet relaxed, with smooth tarmac, gentle bends, and light traffic, making it an enjoyable day for riders of all experience levels. Occasional viewpoints provide opportunities to pause and absorb the dense greenery that defines this part of Kerala.

On arrival in Thekkady, located near the edge of the Periyar forest region, you check in to your hotel and spend the afternoon at leisure. You may choose to explore the local spice markets or simply unwind in the calm surroundings of your resort.

  • Accomodation: 3 * Hotel
  • Meals: Breakfast and Dinner
Day 10 : Thekkady – Alleppey (140 KM | 3-4 Hrs)

Today’s ride transitions from forested highlands to Kerala’s famed backwater plains. After breakfast, you depart Thekkady, descending through spice plantations and rubber estates before entering lowland agricultural belts. The roads are broader and more relaxed, passing through bustling towns and vibrant village markets.

While less mountainous, the ride offers cultural richness—temples, canals, and paddy fields defining the scenery. Coconut groves begin to dominate the horizon as you approach the coastal backwater ecosystem.

You arrive in Alleppey by afternoon and check in to your premium waterfront accommodation. The remainder of the day is intentionally unhurried, allowing you to rest after the transition ride. You may explore village canals, enjoy sunset views over Vembanad Lake, or relax within the property’s serene setting.

The slower rhythm of the backwaters offers a refreshing contrast to the highland riding days.

The riding is relaxed yet visually engaging, with glimpses of traditional Chinese fishing nets and inland lagoons.

As you approach Fort Kochi, colonial architecture and maritime history re‑emerge. Upon arrival, you check in to your hotel and set out for local exploration.
