Punctures and small mechanical niggles are part of any long ride — but on our tours they're the mechanic's problem, not yours. Still, understanding the basics makes you a more relaxed and capable rider.
What actually happens on tour
- A tubeless puncture is usually plugged trailside in a few minutes and you're rolling again
- Our support van carries spares, tools and a full mechanic's kit — chains, cables, levers, fuses, tubes and more
- If a bike genuinely can't continue, it's loaded onto the vehicle immediately and you carry on
