The connectivity facts
- Only postpaid Indian SIMs work in Ladakh and much of the high Himalaya — prepaid and foreign SIMs generally won't
- Jio and Airtel have the best (still patchy) coverage
- Whole stretches have nothing — plan for it rather than fight it
