Official Dream Riders Expedition Protocol

Introduction

The greater Himalayas offer the ultimate proving ground for adventure motorcyclists. Spanning breathtaking valleys, high alpine passes, and sacred river gorges, riding through this majestic mountain range calls for disciplined riding and deep environmental stewardship.

Himalayas Travel Do’s

CRUCIAL DO'S
Master engine braking on long, steep descents to prevent brake fade and rotor overheating.
Wear certified protective riding armor (CE Level 2 back, shoulder, and knee protection) on every single ride.
Stay hydrated with warm fluids and electrolyte balance to stave off fatigue and cold-weather cramping.
Check local road opening bulletins, Border Roads Organisation (BRO) advisories, and weather forecasts daily.

Travel Don’ts

STRICT DON'TS
Do not push past physical exhaustion—pull over, rest, and hydrate whenever alertness drops.
Do not dispose of plastic, fuel cans, or motor oil in mountain streams or valleys.
Do not ignore weather warnings; mountain storms can turn rain into impassable snowdrifts within minutes.
Do not leave behind graffiti or stickers on natural rocks, shrines, or mountain passes.
