La mejor época para visitar el Valle de Zanskar es de junio a septiembre, cuando la nieve se derrite y las rutas desde Leh y Kargil se abren para los riders. El clima es agradable con cielos despejados, permitiendo el paso seguro por los puertos de montaña como el Singe La y el Sirsir La.
