Arrive at Manali either by taking a bus/ taxi from Delhi, Chandigarh or Kullu. Hotel check-in starts by 12, so please reach the notified hotel before evening. After checking in, you are free to wander around the city if you wish. Get back to the hotel in the evening for orientation and group meet up. Learn all about the road trip in orientation - the roadmap, riding etiquette, pitfalls, & rules followed by bike allocation. Test your bike and notify the issues to the team and head to the dining area for dinner. We recommend good sleep before the 1st riding day. Overnight at Manali Hotel.

Day 2 Manali - Rohtang - Keylong (120 Km)

Manali Altitude - 6700 Ft Keylong Altitude - 10100Ft. Key attractions - Rohtang pass, Sissu & Rahala Waterfalls

Wake up early & head to the parking spot. Check if your luggage has been placed well in the backup vehicle. Before breakfast, assemble along with the bikes as we depart for Keylong via mount Rohtang. Fill up courage in your heart and fuel in the tank; you are going to need these a lot. Ask an experienced rider & you will know; 120 Km trip is not short if it includes hilly roads and Rohtang pass. Even with the 'bum ache’, You will turn speechless by sceneries and breathless physically when you reach Keylong, adore the heart-shaped waterfall at Sissu. Overnight at Keylong in the hotel.

Day 3 - Keylong - Sarchu - Pang (190 Km)

Keylong Altitude - 10100Ft Pang Altitude - 15280 feet. Key Attractions - 21 hairpin Ghataloops, Baralachla Pass, Suraj Tal

Please assemble after breakfast & check if your luggage has been placed properly in the support vehicle. As we leave for the no fueling station road, you might want to recheck the fuel level and high-altitude medication. Rider by heart enjoy riding on this ironic patch - toughest yet most beautiful. Weather and road conditions on the terrain are very unpredictable in this region & can change any moment; road blockades, landslides, snowfall etc are frequent along with numerous water crossings. Please make your mind for this appealing death road as a U-turn seems a good decision. Apart from enjoying the scenery, drive safely through the freezing-cold water crossings and keep an eye on falling mountain rocks. 'Baam!' The Himalayas can catch you by surprise at any moment.
Your shoulders & backbone would be so damn tired, your executive class body wouldn't mind sleeping at Banjaara style stays – cramped beds in a common tent. You can cook your food outside with your trembling hands. You better be ready to dance when a fellow rider sings in the evening. Overnight stay at the dormitory-style transit camp of Pang.

Day 4 - Pang - Morey plains - Leh (180 Km)

Pang Altitude - 15280 ft Leh Altitude - 11500Ft Key Attractions - Morey Plains, Tanglang La

"Come on Buddy! I know this place is awesome, but what's coming next is better" says a fellow rider. We start riding away Pang and close to John Carters' Mars at the same time. We will stop at Morey plains, the most picturesque road stretch. One loses the sense of time riding on the endless road surrounded by Himalayan mountains. Later, we ride to Tanglang La top (17480 ft). The mercury dips at a faster pace than your altitude gain. We will make a stop at the top and take photos with shaky hands. Then, we continue the ride down the hill. Witness colour changing mountains and topography while heading to Upshi riding along the subsidiary river of the Indus river. Although you wish to take multiple stops for photos, you can't because you just learned the lesson at Tanglang La & understand the 'Cold-hearted welcome' at Leh if you reach in the evening.
'Yes! I reached' says your heart by looking at "welcome to Leh' board.

Day 5 - Rest day at Leh

Leh Altitude - 11500Ft Key Attractions - Shanti Stupa, Thiksey monastery, Shey Palace, Magnetic Hill, Indus - Zanskar Confluence

Just like you, after riding on such rugged terrains, the bike needs rest & a thorough check-up. So, leave the bike at the hotel for maintenance. For today, please use the local commute modes – public transport or rent a car. You may rent a bicycle to burn a few calories. On the leisure day, feel free to explore the Leh city and its numerous monasteries. Go around the market & taste authentic Ladakhi food with salted tea made of Yak milk. Come back to the hotel for dinner in the evening. Overnight at the Hotel at Leh.

Day 6 - Leh - Chang La Pass - Durbuk - Pangong (170 Km)

Leh Alt. - 11500Ft Pangong Alt. - 15280 feet Key Attractions - Kang Yisay, Pangong Lake, Chang La Pass

The day starts with a mix of excitement and nervousness for all including Bollywood enthusiasts. We head towards the next big thing. En route Pangong, you ride uphill on earthen and gravel roads to mighty Chang La (17,580 Ft). From the top, you may catch the glimpse of Kang Yisay top of Hemis National Park. Eventually, it reminds you of how small are you on the earth. You will forget the count of the numerous small water streams on the road, which keeps flooding your mud wrapped bike before you finally reach the lake. Do not stop at every other point to take photos, unless you wish to miss the sunset view at Pangong Lake. Overnight stay at the camp near the Lake.
It may not be the best place you stayed in past, but remember the fact of how less of these were produced or manufactured in Ladakh. Probably, each amenity that you enjoy has travelled a thousand km to serve you. So, praise the hardship your host & enjoy an evening soul-searching walk on the beautiful blue lake bank.

Day 7 - Pangong - Shyok - Agham - Nubra Valley (180 Km)

Pangong Alt. - 15280 feet Nubra Alt. - 10080 feet Key Attractions - Karakoram Mountain Range, Shyok River

This is not a joyous day for you if you don't love trading your way in mud & water roads. You face hilly curves at the beginning, accompanied by the roar of Shyok. Look at the mountains across the river on your right side, that would be Karakoram mountain ranges. Sandstorm and rolling stones are very usual, just like Water crossings. Later the river following you will take over your road in the form of a few huge water crossings. If you happen to be lucky sandstorm will further come to greet you. Once you reach the campsite, enjoy the evening with bonfire & music. Overnight stay at the camp.

Day 8 - Nubra - Turtuk - LOC - Nubra (180 Km)

Nubra Alt. - 10080 feet Turtuk Alt. - 10000 feet Key Attractions - Karakoram Mountain Range, Nubra River, Sand Dunes

It is the day when we explore an untouched destination - Turtuk, the only Baltic Town in India; once a part of Pakistan until 1971. Take it as an opportunity to explore the culture and traditions of Baltic People. Do not forget to take a snap with the mighty K2 from the topmost point in Turtuk. Soon after we head to the last Indo Pak border town – Thang which is just 3 km from actual line of control. You have to be there to understand rider's feeling of the farthest village of India. We will return to the Nubra valley in the evening and Visit the dunes famous for its humped Bactrian camel. Overnight at Nubra Camp.

Day 9 - Nubra - Khardung La – Leh (140 Km)

Nubra Alt. - 10080 feet Leh Altitude - 11500Ft Key Attractions - Highest Motorable Road, Diskit Monastery,

Let's Go! We are leaving to witness a man-made wonder. We will ride on the road above 18000 ft, maintained by Border Road Organisation. Steep turns, low oxygen & weather unpredictability ranks the ride among the most challenging ride. We will make a photo stop at the top for the customary photograph with the landmark board. While you ride for the top of the world, you understand the toll it takes to build a road this altitude. After the joyous celebration, we now ride downhill to catch a breath & some tea at Pullu. Later, we dug-dug further to the Himalayan sand desert. After the joyous celebration, we drive downhill for Kilometers, feels scary while looking at endless downhill roads. The grand road welcomes you back to Leh.
