Motorcycle Tour Route Details

Day 1 - Arrival at Delhi & Transfer to Manali

Riders are requested to arrive at the meeting point at stipulated time as communicated. Private buses never leave Delhi bus stop at exact start time, but staying punctual doesn’t harm. We don't guarantee front row seats to everyone, so arrive early. Meet your fellow riders & enjoy the comfortable overnight journey to hills. Dinner is not included in the Bus journey.

Day 2 - Arrival at Manali

Manali Altitude - 6700 ft. Expected temp - 8 to 25 C.

Reach Manali in the morning; reach the hotel by taking taxi from the bus stand. Breakfast in not included on this day. Hotel check-in starts around 11 AM. After checking in, you are free to wander around the city on your own on your wish. Get back to the hotel in the evening for orientation and group meet up. Learn all about the road trip in orientation - the roadmap, riding etiquette, pitfalls, & rules the bike will be allotted & let you test the bike. Please inform the team of adjustments if any. We will head to fuel up the bikes followed by dinner. We recommend good sleep before the 1st riding day. Overnight at Manali Hotel.

Day 3 - Manali - Rohtang - Keylong (120 Km)

Manali Altitude - 6700 Ft Keylong Altitude - 10100Ft. Key attractions - Rohtang pass, Sissu & Rahala Waterfalls

Wake up early & before having breakfast, please check if your belongings have been loaded the luggage vehicle or not. After breakfast, assemble & line up with the bike. We will leave for Keylong. 120 Km ride is not short as hill hurdles of Rohtang pass with majestic sceneries. We will make stops just at the well-defined spot for photos. Witness the heart-shaped waterfall en route Keylong. Overnight at Keylong in the hotel.

Day 4 - Keylong - Sarchu - Pang (190 Km)

Keylong Altitude - 10100Ft Pang Altitude - 15280 feet. Key Attractions - 21 hairpin Ghataloops, Baralachla Pass, Suraj Tal

Please assemble after breakfast & check if your luggage has been placed well in the support vehicle. Please recheck the fuel level and high-altitude medication. Be mindful riding on this ironic patch - toughest yet most beautiful. Weather and road conditions on the terrain are very unpredictable in this region; road blockades, landslides, snowfall etc are frequent along with numerous water crossings. Expect ride condition to change within moments. Overnight stay at the dormitory-style transit camp of Pang.

Day 5 - Pang – Morey Plains – Leh (180 Km)

Pang Altitude - 15280 feet Leh Altitude - 11500Ft Key Attractions - Morey Plains, Tanglang La

We start riding after breakfast, closer to John Carters' Mars-like mountain surroundings. We will stop at Morey plains, the most picturesque road stretch. Later, we ride to Tanglang La top (17480 ft). Expect the unexpected riding to the top with rapid mercury drop. Witness colour changing mountains and topography while heading to Upshi riding along the subsidiary river of the Indus river. Overnight stay at Leh in the hotel.

Day 6 - Leh - Khardung La- Nubra (150 Km)

Nubra Alt. - 10080 feet Leh Altitude - 11500Ft Key Attractions - Highest Motorable Road, Khardung Village

We will ride on the road above 18000 ft, maintained by Border Road Organisation. Steep turns, low oxygen & weather unpredictability ranks the ride among the most challenging ride. Later we ride downhill towards Nubra Valley. We will make a stop at Diskit Monastery for prayers. Overnight stay at Nubra Valley campsite or guesthouse.

Day 7 - Nubra - Turtuk - LOC - Nubra (180 Km)

Nubra Alt. - 10080 feet Turtuk Alt. - 10000 feet Key Attractions - Karakoram Mountain Range, Nubra River, Sand Dunes

We will explore the only Baltic Town in India, Turtuk, once a part of Pakistan until 1971. Take it as an opportunity to explore the culture and tradition of Baltic People. Do not forget to take a snap with the mighty K2 from the topmost point in Turtuk. Soon after, we head to the last Indo Pak border town – Thang which is just 3 km from actual line of control. We will return to the Nubra valley & Visit the dunes & Bactrian camel. Overnight at camp or guesthouse at Hunder /Nubra.

Day 8 - Nubra - Pangong (180 Km)

Key Attractions - Karakoram Mountain Range, Shyok River

It is a day of making a way in mud & water crossings. The Shyok valley acts as a wind tunnel; shaking biker and his ride by powerful winds. Sandstorm and rolling stones are very usual crossings. Few water crossings en route are so huge and challenging, nothing like you have seen before. Later, face hilly curves along the Shyok river. Overnight camp stays at Tangste or Spangmik.

Day 9 - Pangong - Chang La Pass – Leh (170 Km)

After a photo session at the Pangong Lake of all Karinas and Aamirs, we head towards the next big thing at 17,580 Ft. En route Leh, you ride uphill on earthen and gravel roads to mighty Chang La. Catch the glimpse of Kang Yisay top of Hemis National Park from the Chang La Top. Later, you will continue to trade your path in the earthen roads to reach Leh. Overnight stay at the Leh hotel.

Day 10 - Leh - Lamayuru - Kargil (225 Km)

Leh Alt. - 11500Ft Kargil Alt. - 8780 feet Key Attractions - Fotu La, Namik La, Lamayuru, Moonland of Ladakh

We will start early on this day. En route, we will come across the Magnetic Hill. Being the most beautiful stretch, you can’t help yourself taking photos and videos at Fotu La (13478ft) and Namika La (12139ft). Catch a glimpse of one of the Oldest monasteries at Lamayuru while riding to Kargil. Slowly we descend towards the Kargil city. Overnight at Kargil hotel

Day 11 - Kargil - Dras Memorial - Sonamarg (125 Km)

Kargil Alt. - 8780 feet Sonamarg Alt. - 9100 feet Key Attractions - Drass memorial, Zoji La Pass, Machoi Glacier

After a heavy breakfast, we start the journey to Sonamarg. You will be fascinated with the road quality till Drass, the second coldest inhabited town the world. While we are at Drass, it is must to visit historical war memorial & pay tribute. Before you get too habituated to the road, Zoji La will test your patience and riding skill. After handing over bike and all riding gears, feel free to go for a hike or horse ride in the meadows. Overnight at Sonamarg hotel.

Day 12 - Srinagar Airport to Departure

After breakfast, we meet again to say bid farewell to each other & cheer the moments of togetherness. We will drop the whole group to Srinagar Airport on a fixed time. It is advisable to reach 2 hours for Srinagar to avoid the unplanned situation. Here onwards we leave for our lives and cities.
