Our fleet consists of comparatively new, Royal Enfield Himalayan motorcycles not older than 2 years, a powerful machine exclusively made for tough Indian Terrains in Himalayas. All our machines are maintained and serviced by our trained motorcycle mechanic and are well equipped to make your ride comfortable and memorable.

Support Vehicle

A Bolero Camper will always accompany the group that carries your luggage, quick medical equipment, all the Machine spare-parts and support staff, that includes a mechanic and spare rider. There will be enough space inside, in case if anyone needs to rest during the hectic ride or due to the altitude sickness.

Accommodation

Riding in the Himalayas at higher altitudes can be tiresome and at the end of the day, we understand one needs to have a comfortable stay with an authentic atmosphere. We have 3*, 4* and Deluxe accommodations along with portable camping at fotoksar and purnee planned where you will experience the warmth of nature and caring hospitality will comfort you beyond delight.

Medical Assistance

We carry all medical assistance to deal with basic health problems like altitude sickness or minor accidents. That includes Oxygen Cylinders, Oxymeters, first aid medical kit and also our trained and experienced tour managers are at your help throughout.

Support Crew

Group is run by 4 crew members:
Tour Manager cum Road Captain, who will lead the group throughout the journey and look for all your on-ground support with respect to the accommodations or any other assistance you may require during the ride. Machine Mechanic, who will fix your machine at any moment if there is a breakdown during the ride, to make your adventure unstoppable. Camper Driver, to help us with the luggage onboarding and off-loading at every destination. Spare Rider, in case of any mishap or participant’s discomfort during the ride.

Motorcycle Tour Route Details

Day 1 - Arrival at Leh

Leh Alt. - 11500Ft

Arrive at Leh Airport (IXL). We will wait for everyone to arrive & depart in group to the hotel. You are advised to take a dosage of Diamox & take rest for whole day. It is strictly advised not to go out to mitigate altercation of altitude. If you feel any symptom – a headache, nausea or vomiting, inform the team immediately. In the evening, we will gather for orientation and group meet up. Learn all about the road trip in orientation – the roadmap, riding etiquette, pitfalls, & rules followed by motorcycle allocation. Inform the team of any issues on the motorbike.

Day 2 - Leh – Nurla ( 85 Kms )

Leh Altitude - 11500Ft Nurla Altitude – 9970 Ft
Key Attractions - Indus - Zanskar Confluence, Magnetic Hill, Gurudwara Patthar Sahib

Buddham Saranam Gacchami. Time to visit Gompas and expose ourselves to Ladakhi culture. We will ride to a small village in Indus Valley, famous for its serene beauty with minimal human footfalls. En route Nurla, we will make few stops to visit Gurdwara Patthar Sahib, Magnetic Hill and the Indus – Zasnkar river confluence. Check-in at the hotel at Nurla and go out for a walk to Buddha Maitreya Temple.

Day 3 - Nurla – Fotoskar (80 Km)

Nurla Altitude – 9970 Ft Fotoksar Altitude – 11348 Ft
Key Attractions – Sirsir La, Fotoksar Village

We walk past the historic city to cruise on. Just like the day before, we glide through NH 1D just before Lamayuru. We will make a small pit stop before Lamayuru to catch a glimpse of the moon land of Ladakh and the Monastery. From this point, you will take a different path to Fotoksar. The route will become narrower, later full of earthen dust and bumps. As the dust settles, you will get the beautiful view of a Valley which houses the small hamlet of Fotoksar. Fotoksar is more popular as pit stop for Zanskar Chadar trekkers. Overnight stay at village in portable camping.

Day 4 - Fotoskar – Lingshed – Padum (120 Km)

Fotoskar Alt. – 11348 ft Padum Alt. - 12037 feet
Key Attractions – Singela, Lingshed, Zangla

Did you find the route on the Google Map? I bet you didn’t. This day, we will encounter unfamiliar challenges on this absolutely new route. This newly made patch is being maintained by BRO as rest of the routes in Ladakh. We will trade through the slippery slopes of the roads along the popular Chadar Trek route. On the route, you get some relief and other mankind at Lingshed. Take a sip of hot tea there because you aren’t getting more till you have reached Padum. Later when we reach there, we explore a different side to Tibetan culture in the Zanskar valley with unique traditions like polyandrous marriage. Soak in with the locals, meet them, greet them and understand the valley of food and copper. Overnight stay at Padum Hotel.

Day 5 - Zangla excursion & Padum Local (90 Km)

Padum Alt. - 12037 feet
Key Attractions – Pibiting Gompa, Thongde, Karsha Monastery

Padum is populated by roughly 700 inhabitants. Today, we will head further to the last motorable point in the Zanskar valley, far from 'civilization’. Zangla is the start point for several extreme treks including chadar treck. You will come across the valleys and the passes which brought us here. After exploring the ruins of Zangla palace, we will head back to Padum for a local excursion which includes - Pibiting Gompa, Thongde, Karsha Monastery among others. Overnight hotel stay at Padum near Tsarap (Zanskar River).

Day 6 - Padum – Purnee (80 Km)

Padum Alt. - 12037 Ft Purnee – 12959 Ft
Key Attractions – Phugtal Monastery

The Ride on this day is not going to be an easy one although it’s a short ride. The route is highly explored and visitor hostile. The view of Tsarap is beautiful, we agree but almost zero presence of mankind is representation of hostile environment. You will face water crossing and absolute dirt every now and then. We will reach at the confluence town Purne by the early noon. Soon, we will leave for Phugtal Gompa. If you are not trek fit, you should stay back at the homestay. Phugtal Gompa is largest Gompa in Zanskar yet it is believed to visited by just over two thousand visitors by now. Now, it’s your turn. Overnight stay a homestay / Tent at Purne.

Day 7 - Purnee - Shingoo La – Keylong (120 Km)

Purnee – 12959 Ft Keylong Altitude – 10,000 Ft
Key Attractions – Gonbo Rangjon, Shingoo La

After spending the night at the mystic himalayan village, we will continue our quest to another milestone. Ride on this day more or less the same as before – bumpy, dusty and full of mountains. Tsarap river will continue to guide till Keylong. After riding odd 50 Kms, you will reach Shingo La / Shinku La (You can spell as you wish), the diving line of Zanskar and Lahaul valleys. After clicking photographs, we will head to the Keylong via Zanskar Sumdo. Overnight stay at Keylong hotel.

Day 8 - Keylong - Atal Tunnel – Keylong (80 Km)

Keylong Altitude – 10,000 Ft

It’s a comfortable after the long riding days. We will head out to refuel our vehicles and then ride to the newly open Atal Tunnel (also known as Rohtang Tunnel). We will head back to Keylong afterwards. Overnight at Keylong Hotel.

Day 9 - Keylong – Sarchu - Leh (350 Km)

Keylong Altitude – 10,000 Ft Leh Alt. - 11500Ft
Key attractions – Baralachla Pass, Suraj Tal, Morey Plains, Tanglang La

It’s a long ride day hence we will start really early. We will head out before the sun rises. The route will take us through famous places of Manali – Leh Highway. To list them – Jispa, Sarchu, Darcha, Ghata loops, Morey plains, Pang, Upshi and finally Leh. Along with these places, few notable mountain passes will make your ride exciting – Baralach La, Tanglang La. The legendary highway does not need any more praise. You will realise when you ride there. Overnight at Leh.

Day 10 - Leh – Hometown

After breakfast, we meet again to say bid farewell to each other & cheers the moments of togetherness. Our team will bid adieu to you. We will drop in the group to the airport on a fixed time. Here onwards we leave for our lives and cities with lifetime memories and friends.
