Riding Route Details
Day1 : Delhi- Rishikesh (244 Km)
We welcome you to the action-filled ride. We meet at the meetup point to roadmap discussion and a little chit-chat with fellow riders followed by our departure. We would be covering a decent stretch today so keep right pace to reach on time. The roads might be smooth, the constant honking and crazy traffic will drive you crazy too. While you ride to Rishikesh, you would come along tiny foothills, greeting you a warm welcome to the Devbhumi (Land of the Gods). Let your soul soothe in your soul at the Jungle Camps, not very far from the river itself.
Day2 : Rishikesh - Chamba (70 Km)
Today we depart from the fertile land of the Holy Ganges to Chamba, but not before we take a dip in holy waters. We would climb uphill at the starting point for river rafting. After flexing our muscles in The Ganges waves, We pack our bags to next destination - Chamba. Unlike before, the narrower and hilly; you would enjoy the ride. You would witness the serenity and virginity of the town, sitting next to Tehri Dam; completely unspoilt and fresh. You might wanna ride down the hill before dinner, to witness the humongous and beautiful water body.
Day3 : Chamba - Chopta (150 KM)
After a heavy breakfast, we leave for Chopta as next destination. No, we are not there to trek like others. As it is said for bikers, the destination is not important, the path is. The roads are narrower but the view is far beautiful. The last stretch after Alaknanda Beach(Srinagar) is even better with it colours. The altitude would push your limits a bit. At times, the broken road would bother you. Keep an eye, for the rolling stones. Chopta is different than you expect, far tinier. Have a delightful dinner before you sleep.
Day4 : Chopta - Kausani (161 KM)
Today, we would leave the green lush green valley mountains & head towards panoramic 300 Km Himalayan view. The ride is curvy on this day moving towards a place which has bewitched eminent personalities including Mahatma Gandhi. You understand the reason why the place is called Switzerland of India, once you reach there. Less information causes more curiosity. Isn't it?
Day5 : Kausani - Munsiyari (165 KM)
If you wake up late, it is your loss that missed the most splendid sunrise on this trip. You might not a professional photographer, the spectrum of colour will turn you into one. After celebrating coffee with the Himalayas, we inch closer to meet the Himalayas. Today, we would be riding deeper north towards the border & the last motorable points in Uttarakhand. The mountains, which looked distant & were creating the mesmerising panoramic view, would be closer to you. Rush to reach Munsiyari, if you liked the sunrise this morning.
Day6 : Munsiyari - Jageshwar Range (196 Km)
On this day, we ride downhill to drive uphill. You would be habituated by the curves & river flowing alongside. You start missing them if you don't come across one in a brief moment. The Range offers the touch of Rural Villages. Among the small towns, we would take a halt at Chaukori to witness remote Uttarakhand town. The scenic beauty will continue to amuse you but in a different way. Jageshwar Range among the least touched destinations in the state. You would blush by changing surrounding in every while. Be ready to be stunned when you reach the hotel.
Day7 : Jageshwar Range - Nainital (100 Km)
After the revitalisation with nature, we ride towards the Lake Town- Nainital. The ride although near 100 Km does not seem long when we take a halt Almora to take another bite of natural beauty. These destinations do not require words to praise them. They leave a rider speechless. You get an opportunity to enjoy the coffee peacefully in the lake cafe while others rush to enjoy boating.
Day8 : Nainital - Delhi (302 Km)
After this refreshing week, we will ride back to the Capital city of India. Although the peaceful and well-maintained road, you would start missing your companions on this ride- river and the hilly curves. After this long riding day, we would meet at the Tea Spot to Celebrate the togetherness. It is time. Time to announce the closure of the trip. The trip may have come to an end; we will always be connected with the memories of the trip. See you next time.
