Motorbike Safari is a leisure activity that generally takes place in a usual or unusual,exotic, remote or wilderness setting and tends to be associated with low or high levels of physical activity. Safari is one kind of adventurous sport of riding to the limits and beyond. Now touring in India`s North East region – A Paradise Un-Explored.


Travel can be blasé when everything related to it falls in place. If we know the exact distance from the source to the destination, when we know how much time it would take for us to travel that distance, the navigation is precise and fuel tank is full, would the journey not become a smoother affair? So here we are with the answer the passion of Riding and exploring does not make any rider stop. We with the power of our bike can lead to and overcome any hazards even if how much impossible it is, the riders always made the history to explore the virgin places.


We would below like to brief you about the journey we begin for North East India.


Arunachal the land of full greeny thorny jungles , high waterfalls and everywhere flowing riverbeds , lofty mountains and foothills, the roads accessibility in Arunachal is limited and may be some of the roads are bumpy and sandy which make our riders more challenging.


Assam mainly known for its oldest world of Tea plantation and beautiful tea gardens, apart from that we cannot forget about the famous Kamakhaya Temple over there. Assam is also known for the Brahmaputra River.


Meghalaya is the state in North East India known as “abode of clouds. The capital is Shillong, known as the "Scotland of the East”. This state is the wettest region of India. Meghalaya is one of the Seven Sister States of northeast India. The state of Meghalaya is mountainous, with stretches of valley and highland plateaus.


Nagalandis a state in Northeast India. It borders the state of Assam to the west, Arunachal Pradesh and part of Assam to the north, Burma to the east and Manipur to the south. The state capital is Kohima, and the largest city is Dimapur. Nagaland is largely a mountainous state. The Naga Hills rise from the Brahmaputra Valley in Assam. It has largely monsoon climate with high humidity levels.


Solid riding skills, a sense of adventure and flexibility is must when taking part in these Himalayan expeditions, which cover around 2000 km and considerable altitude differences. Road conditions vary from freshly paved to rough tracks.


We the Dream Riders Group are purely into the passion of riding through the harsh ways with utmost care and means to explore the hidden places .This Adventure of 15 Days will lead you to the new adventure of riding through Assam – Meghalaya –Arunachal - Nagaland.

Riding Route Details

Day1 : Arrive at Guwahati

Arrive at Gauhawti Airport and our team member will welcome you and lead to the hotel .Check in at the hotel have leisure for some time and then there will be a reunion of all members where group Formation & briefing will be organized .In the evening if anybody wants , one is free to take a tour of famous kamakhaya Temple. Overnight leisure at the hotel.

Day2 : Guwahati – Cherrapunji Via Shillong (160Kms)

The first morning of our Adventure every rider is excited to start his way out. We start our first attempt to reach Shillong from Guwahati. The road way from Guwahati to Shillong is quiet good and smooth like normal roads time taken to ride will be 3 hrs to reach over Shillong .It is one of the beautiful places in Assam as we enter Shillong we come across the beautiful Umiam Lake. As we talk earlier we cannot ignore the beauty of Arunachal at every point filled with the thrilling charm of nature, lakes, waterfalls etc. Shillong is also known as the “Holland of the East” located in the state of Meghalaya. Enjoying and moving on the motorcycles through the Umiam Lake which is also known by the name of Barapani Lake in Meghalaya, the major attraction, one cannot stop to view the glimpses of this huge lake with wider area and surrounded with mountains. Shillong we will spot the local places for the Elephanta falls, Don Bosco Museum, Polo ground, Lady heardy Park, Shillong Peak, and Shillong Church After all this fun and covering the local sightseeing of Shillong .We proceed to the most wettest place of India, Cherrapunji .As we start with up with our motorcycles we again find good roads but at some time it can be wetty due to rain and the weather conditions keep changing while driving to Cherrapunji. Reach Cherrapunji settle down. Overnight at Cherrapunji.

Day3 : Cherrapunji Local Sightseeing (50Kms)

Morning alarm is on, bikes waiting to be started. Today we will ride to explore the rainiest place Cherrapunji local places. We will start with the beautiful scene of Nokhali falls. Assuring riders difficult to leave the beauty of the falls, but time ringing and lot more ahead is seven sisters falls, Mosmai caves, Shivlinga and double decker bridge. Here the riders will have the most adventurous and challenging tasks of riding on the bridge made with roots, but the bridge is so strong that can carry 50 or more people at a time. This would be one of the unforgettable experiences on the motorcycles. Drive through the long live root bridges.

Day4 : Cherrapunji – Bhalukpong (350Kms)

After along hazardous ride we will leave Cherrapunji to ride for Bhalukpong. We reach the check gate where our permits will be verified, this is the best place to tank upon Petrol, water etc. From here on we will be riding along the Kameng River which is one of the main feeders of the mighty Brahmaputra. After reaching Bhalukpong we whole day will be leisure at the hotel.

Day5 : Bhalukpong – Itanagar (160Kms)

Today morning after our leisure we will lead for Itanagar, it is the capital of Arunachal with wellconnected roads with other facilities like helicopter service between Itanagar and also has the access with other means of communication like Bus and railway services. Whole day leisure. Overnight at Itanagar.

Day6 : Itanagar – Ziro (110Kms)

Today morning we will follow the ride to spot the local sightseeing in Itanagar like Itanagar Museum, Naharlagan local market, and drive through Nishi tribal village. Covering all this we will move on for Ziro. Overnight at Ziro. While proceeding to Ziro we will pass through many dense forests and narrow roads.

Day7 : Ziro – Dapo (160Kms)

After we finish our itanagar sightseen and as we proceed for Ziro we would come across lot of lot of different cultures and tribes of people. Ziro is the headquarter of lower Subansiri District. This plateau is located above 1560m and is surrounded by the mesmerizing Apatani Tribal villages on all sides, enjoying the tagin villages, local traditional houses.Weproceed for Daporijo.

Day8 : Daporijo – Along (140Kms)

The journey of the tradition and culture does not ends here the total area here as we pass by on the motorcycles we will come across a new tribes , new culture with old tradition on the way enjoy the kabu dance , hanging bridge , orange garden.EarlierAAlo known as Along surrounded by mountains, situated in the picturesque valley at the confluence of the Sipu and Siyom Riversinclude the Ramakrishna Mission Campus, Patum bridge, Bagra village, Darka village, Donyi Polo dere temple, The Kamki (25 km from aalo) hydropower dam, or the Mithun and Jersey Cross breeding farm, and orange orchards, you can also go rafting down the Siyom River. The hanging bridge on the Siang River is another thing to see. The bridge is local made, of cane and bamboo. The bridge is around 60-70 m long.

Day9 : Along – Pasighat (110Kms)

As we pass on through by the roads to cover our desired destinations we will get mix of good tarred single and double lane roads and also roads in depleted condition. You will be passing though unending forests and different Adi tribes until you hit Pasighat from where you will be in Riverine areas. Eastern Arunachal is the home of the three big rivers that are the main tributaries forming the Giant Brahmaputra. The roads from Along to Pasighat is quiet narrow and sandy. This ride of Pasighat would be the crazy ride for the riders as we load our bikes on a ferry to float on the other side , as we reach the Ghats we will huge ferry’s .Finally we land upto Dibrugarh.

Day10 : Pasighat – Dibrugarh (140Kms)

Pasighat is connected with road and have frequent services from Guwahati, Lakhimpur or Itanagar. Waterways crossing river Brahmaputra from Dibrugarh by ferry to Oryamghat that is situated at a distance of 32 km from Pasighat.Enroute to Dibrugarh you will also pass through the Tea Estates that Assam is so well known for We reach Dibrugarh, it’s a city well known as Tea City of India in the state of Assam. City roads in Dibrugarh is well built and smooth.

Day11 : Dibrugarh – Mon , Nagaland (180 Kms)

Early morning wake up and leave Dibrugarh we will ride through we will pass through the small town in Assam Sivsagar.. Nagaland is made up of numerous tribes who have been termed as the Nagas.The state is a hilly place with altitude variations of between sea level to five thousand feet (approx.). We will be riding through the region inhabited by the Konyak tribe the district is bounded by the Brahmaputra River on the north, the Nagaland on the south, the Dihing River on the east and the Jhanji River on the west. The road conditions to this way will be forested semi tarred and muddy roads.TheSivasagar district has got its definite identity due to its different races, castes, languages and cultures. After this we will proceed for Mon district is the northernmost district of Nagaland. It is bounded by the state of Arunachal Pradesh to its north. Overnight at Mon.

Day12 : Mon Local Village Visit (50Kms)

Today we will spent our whole day in Mon on the motorcycles to spot the local sightseeing in Mon Lungwa King House , Singi Sui , Head Hunting , Local Market , Myanmar Border , Tribe Dance. Overnight at Mon.

Day13 : Mon – Kaziranga (210Kms)

Early morning we start our bikes to the last but not least to Kaziranga.The first 120 km ride would be tough as we would find some roads under construction and passing through the narrow roads of the dense forests, but as we ride ahead we will get single lane road . The main attraction of Kaziranga is the National park in Golaghat and Nagaon districts of state of Assam and the flora around. We will enjoy the safari ride. Overnight at Kaziranga.

Day14 : Kaziranga – Guwahati (250Kms)

The Final wake up alarm calls the riders to bid bye to all the fun and adventure of North East and restore the memories of the beautiful places and the journey with our team members. This Fun of riding through ups and downs the ferry, bridges, bumpy roads will again call us for other new riding challenges. Finally reached Guwahati.

Day15 : Guwahati – Destination

Back to Destination.

  • Rider / Pillion will be responsible for paying for their personal transportation and snacks other than that included in Package Include.
  • Rider will have to be paid for accident damage.
  • It at all unavoidable circumstances or natural calamities arises due to which the trip gets extended then extra charge will be taken for the same.

Accommodation

  • The Dream Riders Group will not able to fit in every one in the same hotels in some places. So the group will have to be divided between hotels.
  • Rooms, tents are to be shared on twin share basis.

For Booking

  • Rider / Pillion have to pay Rs.10,000/- as a Booking Amount.
  • Remaining Amount must be clear before 10 days of Tour.

Cancellation Policy

Non Refundable Amount Rs.5,000
From 60 to 45 days before commencement of the tour 25 %
From 45 to 30 days before commencement of the tour 50 %
Bellow 30 days or not travelling 100 %

Participant can, at any moment before the commencement day of the tour, cancel your registration for that particular tour, it is, however, important that we receive the information about your travel cancellation in writing. The tour could be cancelled or delay before the commencement, in the case minimum participation is not attained. In such a case we shall inform you immediately and also return the total amount collected from you.

Last date of Registration

Last date of Registration is prior 20 days of trip date. The Dream Riders reserves the right to close the registration early or extend the date of registration. The Dream Riders reserves the right to change, alter or cancel a trip due to any reason which might not be in the best interest of your safety, like dangerous water levels, landslides, extreme weather conditions etc.

Note : There may be changes in the route and final programme due to any unforeseen circumstances.
